WINDOWS SILLS AND CHIMNEY
At first we were planning to replace only our windows sills, but Peter told us we need to take care of our chimney more than those windows sills, so he gave us a quotation for both items. Because looking up to the chimney from ground level, we didnt see anything abnormal, so at first we hire them just to replace windows sills. However one day before the masonry guy came, I hire a chimney cleaner to clean the chimney before winter. After brushing, the cleaner found many brick debris in our fireplace, confirm indeed the chimney was in a terrible condition. This confirms Peter is honest and professional, his team is worth my trust.

They showed up on time for the quote, arranged a date and time to complete work after the deposit was made, and showed up on date/ time to start work and completed exactly per schedule. The two guys who did the work were very polite and respectful. What was a stressful situation as the chimney was hidden by cladding, Bob made me feel very relaxed about. They were not the cheapest, but I chose them as I was the most comfortable with the. Turns out they did not have to do all the work specified and Bob partially reduced the price, which he probably did not have to. He also checked my other chimney and did some slight repair free of charge as mason guys are up there anyway. Thanks very much for a job well done. Chris

Subsequently, they replaced faulty brick with new brick and mortar and did a very good job. In fact the work they did was much better than the original work when the house was built.
The two men on the job were real professionals, they were polite and helpful, customer service oriented and they ensured we were satisfied with what they had done before they left. We recently purchased a house that had a chimney (wood fireplace) in need of repair, and two side doors that needed to be replaced. The side doors were redundant, with the house having a front door and back patio door (the eventual plan for the house is to add an entrance into the attached garage). So we had them bricked up.
The fireplace will be converted to gas, so we had it shortened and capped, rather than repaired. We contacted Bowman Masonry in the fall, and a quote was promptly provided. The quote was a fair price. Work was started in April (our delay), the crew were professional and took three days to get it done. We’re very happy with the whole process. We have some future masonry work to do and will have Bowman Masonry back to do that too.

I chose Bowman Masonry because they had done some work for my mother several years ago and we were satisfied with that job. I know it took awhile to secure a date for my chimney removal because of the rainy weather we had earlier in the season.
Once Guy committed to a date – it happened on time – the two fellas did a lovely job. We had asked to keep the ‘good’ bricks and they piled them in an orderly fashion where my husband requested. You can’t tell I ever had a chimney – they matched the shingles to the existing roof. I would certainly recommend your company.

Bowman Masonry Renovation Team is awesome. They started working at the time everything was been closed due to COVID-19 but they never stopped working.
They completely rebuilt our property front brickwork which was a big job. My son is a Toronto Architect who planned the project and introduced me to the contractor . We are so happy! Our home looks like a brand new home. They did a fantastic job!
